Care Instructions
To eliminate discoloration, use a polish made exclusively for brass, such as Brasso. Use a gentle cleaning cloth to apply it according to the directions on the bottle (Our preference is a knit-cotton material). Wash the brass with warm water and mild dish soap before beginning to polish it. Apply the soapy water with a soft, moist cloth and clean it until all debris and dust is gone.
This elegant 1 gang black nickel toggle light switch is crafted from brass, plated, brushed, and aged to deliver the warmest of finishes that go well with many period interiors. Available as a 2-way light switch or as an intermediate light switch.
The classic toggle design and chic screwless finish of our black nickel light switch series provide modern or traditional interiors with an effortlessly stylish appeal. They are an excellent option for high-traffic areas and young families since they naturally hide fingerprints and minor blemishes.
Toggle light switch finishes are essential for interior design and styling and should match their surroundings. Suppose you have black or nickel finishes in your kitchen, such as kitchen cabinet handles or appliance switches, or use black or nickel bathroom brassware. In that case, this Black Nickel 1 Gang Toggle Light Switch will perfectly complement the rest of the interior.
Our black nickel toggle light switches are available as 2-way or intermediate switches.
When would you use a 2-way light switch?
You can use 2-way light switches if you have a light and need to control it with two separate switches. For example, suppose you have a light at the top of your stairs. In that case, you may wish to control it with a switch at the bottom and top of the stairs, so you don’t have to walk back down to switch it off. 2-way switches work for up to 2 switches operating a light.
When would you use an intermediate switch?
You would use an intermediate switch when controlling lights with more than two switches. For example, you have a staircase with a landing in the middle and a switch on the bottom floor, the landing and at the top, all-controlling one light.
To customise your black nickel toggle light switch with instructions on which toggle informs which light, add the words you’d like to use to the ‘Order Special Instructions’ form in the cart, and a member of our sales team will be in contact.
