Care Instructions

To preserve the polished surface, clean your tiles with a soft cloth and warm soapy water. Rinse the surface clean immediately afterwards. Do not allow any liquid cleaner to stand for extended periods, as this may stain the bath. Do not use powders, pastes, crème cleaners, thinners or dry cleaning fluids. Stubborn marks and fine scratches can be removed using 1500-2000 grit water paper. Follow this by polishing with a car burnishing compound and a soft cloth. A weak bleach solution may be used.

The Arts and Crafts movement emerged in the late nineteenth century as a reaction to the negative impacts of industrialisation. Designed to complement our selection of fireplace inserts and combination fireplaces that allow for tile inserts in the uprights. William Morris, the arts and crafts pioneer, thought that creative talent should be expressed in all products rather than just 'fine art.' Our wall tiles were inspired by the arts and crafts passion with nature and floral patterns. Our wall tiles may be used in various locations around the house, but they look especially attractive in a fireplace, bathroom, and kitchen. Our wall tiles, can be utilised both inside and outside, and may be used to embellish an entranceway or a porch. The crazing that develops in the glazing is a natural feature of this product. These hand-painted tiles come in packs of ten.
