This elegant aged Antique Brass light switch 1 Gang 2 Way Toggle Switch is crafted from brass that has been plated, brushed, and aged to deliver the warmest of finishes that go well with many period interiors. The classic design and chic screwless finish of our brass light switch series provide modern or traditional rooms with an appealing look. They are an excellent option for high-traffic areas and young families since they are made to hide fingerprints and minor blemishes naturally. Socket and switch finishes are essential to consider for interior design and styling and should be chosen to match their surroundings. If you have aged/antique brass finishes in your kitchen (unit handles/appliances) or bathroom (towel rails etc.), this Antique Brass Toggle Light Switch will complement perfectly.
Retractive switches must be used as part of a smart home system or with a driver pack. These can be used in smart homes and look fantastic alongside the rest of our range of sockets and switches. These switches offer a great way of interacting with hardwired smart home systems or door entry systems. If you have a smart home system, this allows you to program multiple switching types. For example, flick once for on and off and hold it down to dim. You can use this switch for push-to-break scenarios on magnetic door locks.
To customise your plate with instructions on which toggle informs which light just add the words you’d like to use to the ‘Order Special Instructions’ form in the cart and a member of our sales team will be in contact.

When would you use a Two way light switch?
You can use a two-way switch if you have a light and need to control it with two separate switches. For example, suppose you have a light at the top of your stairs. In that case, you may wish to control it with a switch at the bottom and top of the stairs, so you don’t have to walk back down to switch it off. 2-way switches work for up to 2 switches operating a light, so they are used in place of 1-way light switches.
When would you use an intermediate switch?
You would use an intermediate switch when you need to control a light with more than two switches. For example, you have a staircase with a landing in the middle and a switch on the bottom floor, the landing and at the top, all-controlling a light on the landing.
